Hacking PLC from the internet part1.1 (Edited)

Many of you probably know that SCADA systems can be found on the Internet. That is not a big deal, you just need to know Google or Shodan search strings.

What is more important is that PLC devices that must be much more isolated from the outside than SCADA are also available on the Internet.

Let me show you an example of one of the most popular PLC devices by WAGO. It can be easily found by using the inurl:/plc/webvisu.htm

You can also use Shodan with the search string “/plc/webvisu.htm” and find more than 90 systems.

Also, you can find real examples of remotely operated PLC devices such as a smart house. And of course there are some default passwords as admin:wago.
